Carol “Carrie” Mulley is the Co-Founder and President of Alliance For Change, LLC
(AFC). AFC takes a holistic approach in addressing the needs of individuals, providing alternative resources to mental and behavioral health matters. AFC provides Psychotherapy, Personal/Family based training, Intensive Family Intervention, Crisis Intervention and Groups. Prior to her current position, Carrie Mulley was the Co-Founder of Inner Peace Counseling Services. Moreover, she worked for the Department of Family and Children Services as an Advanced Social Service Case Manager, and at Edwin Gould Academy, as a Family Advocate. Carrie has over 23 years of experience in the Human Services Industry.

She received her undergraduate degree from Nyack College, NY and graduated with a 4.0 vfrom Fort Valley State University with my master’s in Mental Health Counseling. She specializes in child, adolescent, family and group therapies. Additionally, she is trained in Trauma Informed Crisis Prevention/Intervention and Aggressive Behavior Management, Personality Disorder, and Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC). Carrie Mulley previously sat on the board of MGalert, and Atlanta Center for Healing, both Non-Profit agencies whose goals aim to reduce or eliminate child sex trafficking, and child abuse. Moreover, she continues to learn effective treatment strategies by attending continuing education courses, conferences and workshop, in addition, to reading trade publications.

Raised in Georgetown, Guyana. Carrie and her family immigrated to the United States when she was 16 years old. Carrie now lives with her husband, Bill Morgenthal and pets, Sochi and Teddy in Louisville, KY.
